حينما تسمع محمد منير فإنك تسمع مصر

نشأته : تلقى منير تعليمه المبكر و قضى فترة صباه فى النوبة القديمة قبل ان يهاجر مع اسرته الى النوبة الجديدة (كوم-امبو)بعد غرق بلاد النوبة تحت مياه بحيرة ناصر
التى خلفها السد العالى فى اوائل السبعينيات ، و يتذكر منير عن فترة طفولته و صباه
انه كان يغنى فى كل مناسبات بلدته و يتواجد فى اى مكان به غناء ، وقد شجعه على موهبة الغناء أخيه الاكبر "فاروق" الذى يمتاز ايضا بعذوبة صوته ، وبعد حصوله على الثانوية العامة هاجر الى القاهرة لدخول الجامعة

تخرج فى قسم التصوير السينيمائى من كلية الفنون التطبيقية بجامعة حلوان ، اما عن بداية منير الفنية فقد بدأت حينما استمع إليه الشاعر (عبد الرحيم منصور) وقال عنه
ا"ان هذا الفتى القادم من الجنوب سيكون صوت مصر الجديد" ، وقد انضم إليهم الملحن العظيم (أحمد منيب) ،
الذى يعتبر الاب الروحى لمنير و بعد ذلك جاءت فترة التجنيد
ل محمد منير .. و فى الجيش كان منير يقوم بإحياء العديد من الحفلات فى عدة مناطق عسكرية و كان يغنى و هو يرتدى (الافارول)-على حد تعبيره-وفى هذه الحفلات استمع
إليه ما لا يقل عن نصف مليون شاب مجند ، حيث خرجوا من الجيش و هم يعرفون مطرب اسمر نحيف قادم من الجنوب اسمه (محمد منير) ، وهكذا بدأ منير حياته الفنية
.بجمهور يبلغ نصف مليون شاب

كان أهم ما يميز منير عن جيله انه جاء الى القاهرة و هو يحمل مشروع غنائى جديد متكامل يختلف عن كل من سبقوه فى الغناء مدعم بمخزون الفن فى عقل منير و كان يبحث فقط عن جهة انتاجية ، كانت البداية الحقيقية لمنير بعد انتهاء منير من التجنيد وذلك بإنضمام الموسيقار (هانى شنودة) الذى اضاف للثلاثى الفنى كثيرا بالحانه و توزيعاته الغربــية الطابع ، بل إنه جلب أعضاء فرقته الحديثة وقتها (المصريين) و ذلك ليرددوا أغانى الالبوم الاول لمنير (علمونى عنيكى) ، وتلا ذلك ألبوم من انتاج نفس الشركة التى اقتنعت بتلك المجموعة ، و التى اتى إليها شنودة بـ(يحيى خليل) و فرقته فنجح الألبوم و تبعته نجاحات متتالية فى ألبومات نتاج لتعاون كامل مع فرقة يحيى
خليل و ملحنين وكتاب شباب و كبار ، و تنوعت التجارب و أثراها اتجاه منير للدراما و إشراك فرق غربـــية ايضا ، و الغناء بلهجات شامية و سودانية و جزائرية فى ما عرف بموسيقى الجيل و خلطها بين القوالب

عرف منير بأداءه التلقائي والخارج عن آداب الأداء المعروفة للمصريين، فلم يشاهد في بدلة أو ثابتا أمام الميكروفون و حركاته العصبية، ولهجته الهجين بين القاهرية والأسوانية كما أن ارتباطه بأشعار الصف الأول من شعراء العامية المصرية و قواميسهم المغايرة الخالية من النبرة الرومانتيكية التي سادت منذ أواخر القرن التاسع عشر وموسيقاه المنفصلة عن الطرب الكلاسيكي ، جعل الكثيرين ينكرونه فى البداية ولكن اثر فى العديد من الشباب و أحبه جمهور المهرجانات و بعد ذلك وصل الى كل فئات الجماهير وأطلق عليه محبوه في مصر "الملك" تيمنا باسم ألبومه السياسي الشهير وقد استطاع منير أن يحطم في التسعينيات صورته كمغن للمثقفين وصار من
المألوف أن تسمعه في الشارع ، وكان محمد منير اول من ادخل العازفين الاجانب (ألمان و فرنسيين)ا كذلك حاز على عدة ألقاب منها
(ابن النيل ، جوهرة مصر السمراء ، صوت مصر ، عاشق الحرية ، و الملك )

أهم ما يميز الفنان محمد منير و يجعله دائما على قمة الهرم الغنائى فى مصر و العالم العربى ان بدايته كانت مع اكبر شعراء و ملحنين مصر ، و من أهم رفقاء الدرب

Roots : Mounir receive his instruction early and spent his time in old Nuba before migrate with his family to New Nuba (Kom - Ombo ) after sank Nuba country under the waters of Lake Nasser behind the High Dam in the early
"70s", Mounir remember on his childhood that he used to singing in his old
hometown of occasions & located anywhere in the singing, talent has been
encouraged to sing ; his elder brother "Farouk", which also has good voice
and after he finished his High-School he moved to Cairo for university entry

Education : Graduated from the Department of Cinematography Polytechnic
University of Helwan, Mounir's functional began when the poet listened to him
(Abdul Rahim Mansour) and said that a "This boy who coming from the south
will be the new voice of Egypt " . Then they was joined by the great composer
(Ahmed Mounib) who is considered " The Spiritual Father "of Mounir and then
came the recruitment of Mounir. And in the army Mounir was used to reviving
many concerts in several regions and the military singing & he is wearing the
(Alavarrol) - as he put it - in this concerts listened to Mounir no less than half
a million young recruits were ousted from the army & are known singer faced
Lank coming from the south his name (Mohammed Mounir), thus how Mounir
began his artistic career & half million young people supports him in his way

Professionalism : The most important characteristic of his generation that he
came to Cairo and he was carrying a new integrated project music differs from
his predecessors in the art of singing supported stocks in the minds of Mounir,
was just looking for a productive, the real start of him after he finishing Army &
admission musician (Hani Shenouda), which is added to the tripartite technical
frequently & distribution of Western character , but he brought members of his
new band (The Egyptians) to sing in the first album of Mounir (Alemony Eneki)
This was followed by an album produced by the same company (Sonar), which
is satisfied that group, then joined by ( Yehia Khalil ) and his band, followed by
successes in consecutive albums product of full cooperation with (Yehia Khalil)
young composers, writers and adults & varied experiences and enriched trend Mounir to drama and the involvement of Western bands also, singing & dialects Chamie,Sudanese & Egyptians in what has knew as the music of the generation

Features functional : Mounir was marked by automatic performance and
abroad on the ethics of performance known to Egyptians, not seen in a suit
or a firm moves to the microphone and nervous, The tone of hybrid between
Cairo& Aswan dialects also connected with first grade poets of the vernacular
Egyptian and adversity free Romantique tone that prevailed since late "90th"
century and music separate from the classical music classics, made many of
audience refuse him, but he impacted in many of the young audience of the
festivals, and then reached out to all groups, his fans called him " The King " alluding to the famous political album name.Mounir has been able to break in
the 1990s his image of intellectuals singer and became familiar to hear in the
street, Mohammed Mounir was the first one to introduce the instrumentalists foreigners (Germans and French) , also he gain several titles including this :
